Today the Napa Valley and Cabernet Sauvignon are so intrinsically linked that it is difficult to discuss one without the other. But it wasn’t until the 1970's that this marriage came to light; sudden international recognition rained upon Napa with astounding victories over some of the finest French wines, in the 1976 Judgement of Paris. Cabernet Sauvignon undoubtedly dominates Napa Valley today, covering half of the land under vine, commanding the highest prices per ton, and earning the most critical acclaim. It has the structure, acidity and capacity to thrive in multiple environs, and the ability to express nuances of vintage, making it perfect for Napa Valley where incredible soil and geographical diversity are found and the climate is ideal for growing the finest grapes for our Cabernet Sauvignons.

After decades in retail and distribution of fine wines around the U.S. we came to the Napa Valley to create Adeptos Wines. So "adept" at sourcing top wines and wine values from the Napa Valley, we decided to invest our time and energy working within the personal relationships we acquired over decades, with the growers and winemakers at distinct properties from Napa to Calistoga and in between. The Source of Adeptos wines are the amazing terroirs and microclimates of Napa Valley which continues to provide us with exceptional fruit for our Winemaker partners to execute their "adept" skills in creating our highly acclaimed wines.

Our grandfather's entrepreneurial spirit led him to start our family in the wine business during prohibition in 1925. Despite the challenges and restrictions of the time, he saw an opportunity and seized it, laying the foundation for the success and legacy of our future businesses. His hard work and dedication have been passed down through the generations, shaping the values and work ethic that still drive our company today. We are proud to continue his legacy and honor his pioneering spirit as we carry on the tradition of providing the highest quality products and services to our customers.
